Thelocactus (仙人掌科或稱瘤玉屬，發音為 te-lo-'kak-toos)。希臘文 thele 為乳頭的意思，狀其球狀莖體上的結節。希臘文 kaktos 意思是帶刺的植物。本屬約11種，分布於墨西哥中北部與美國西南部。

bicolor  (種名，發音為 bee-'ko-lor)。兩種顏色，指刺狀退化葉具兩種顏色。本 種俗稱紅針仙人球。   照片
