慣行農業vs另類農業
Conventional agriculture
慣行農業 (又稱工業化農業industrialized
agriculture、高外部投入農業high external input
agriculture)。近代化農業modernized agriculture 比較易誤解。
Traditional
agriculture (傳統農業)一詞較容易混淆。傳統農業指的應該是近代科學之前的農業，但有人用來指稱慣行農業，易。

Regenerative Agriculture
再生農業
再生農業是永續農業的進一步：再生農業仿效生態系受到干擾後具有再生能力的現象。
再生有機農業仰賴封閉系統的養分循環、生物多樣性、以及內部投入，通常種植比較多的多年生作物。
進行再生性的有機、生態農業，可以增加土壤碳封存，減少溫室氣體，增加土壤水力，維持一定產量。
有機農業使用正確的農法在農場內要讓土壤再生，回到自然地原本面貌；不用化學肥料與農藥，要讓個人與家人的健康再生。
有機農業不用化學肥料與農藥，要在農場外讓當地環境與野地再生，包括各種生物、水源。
有機農業循環使用有機廢棄物，避免產生諸多問題，生產進康食物，讓整個社會再生。
